What do you get when an IVR company and a location services provider join together? Apparently the ultimate caller experience, as seen by one recent partnership.
Angel, a leading supplier of enterprise-focused customer experience solutions, has formed a joint venture with TechnoCom (News - Alert) Corp., a company specializing in cloud-based location services, to bring to market an enhanced caller experience.
TechnoCom’s LocationSmart technology will be combined with Angel’s IVR and contact center solutions to deliver real-time location insight to Angel’s enterprise customers, without the need for a handset application to be deployed onto user devices.
With the most extensive nationwide location coverage of more than 360 million devices, TechnoCom’s cross-carrier Web services platform will offer immediate access to almost 90 percent of mobile and landline phones in the U.S., from smartphones and feature phones to tablets.
“By leveraging the immediacy and extensibility of the cloud, the combined intelligent voice solution provides our customers with nationwide location insight with minimal development and no device applications required,” said Don Keane (News - Alert), vice president of Marketing and Business Development for Angel, in a statement. “Integration of TechnoCom’s LocationSmart technology with the Angel platform allows us to immediately enable our customers with an enhanced caller experience.”
Angel currently serves an array of vertical market segments that rely on the power of location. Now, they will gain access to a wealth of benefits for creating a more efficient call experience. Equipped with a robust portfolio of IVR and contact center applications, Angel enables its customers to seamlessly build, manage and make updates with just an Internet connection, as Angel’s platform requires no need for hardware, software or staffing investments. “Exposing new enterprise efficiencies in collaboration with Angel provides callers access to secure and immediate location across all device types, something not possible until recently,” said Mario Proietti, CEO of TechnoCom. “Angel continues to lead the hosted IVR segment by making the needs and productivity of their customers paramount.”
