NeoSpeech, a major provider of text-to-speech and speech-enabled solutions recently expanded its voice portfolio by introducing a new, world-class US English language text-to-speech voice, called Ashley.
Officials said that the new sophisticated voice is the result of an exceptional collaboration among speech experts including high-quality voiceover talent, linguists, and Natural Language Processing engineers.
The natural-sounding Ashley has been released right on the heels of Francisco, the new NeoSpeech American Spanish male voice, followed by James, the most popular American English voice on the market.
“American English female TTS voices are by far the most popular voice software due to their versatility. Female TTS voices are typically heard in buses or trains, customer service hotlines and IVRs, or auto attendants,” Christopher Moon, CEO of NeoSpeech, commented, in a press statement.
He further added: “For this reason it was critical for NeoSpeech to continue to innovate and perfect our female text-to-speech offerings, like Ashley. Ashley is a sophisticated and natural-sounding choice to round out our existing popular US English voice products, which comprise of Paul, Kate, Julie, and James.”
Like all other NeoSpeech text-to -speech voices, Ashely supports various OSs including Windows and Linux in both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures as well as embedded platforms like iOS and Android (News - Alert).
NeoSpeech offers select voices from many languages including US American English, British English, American Spanish, Canadian French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Korean.
A privately held firm, NeoSpeech, Inc. is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. The company’s team of engineers work hard to create state-of-the art TTS engines and APIs. In order to satisfy the clients’ needs, they also constantly strive to develop new languages, voices and innovations in speech technologies.
Few months back, TMCnet reported that NeoSpeech announced the inclusion of their seasoned text-to-speech voices as part of BorG Technology Corporation's SpeakText app suite.
