DEVONtechnologies Leverages Avangate

Oct 01, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Avangate, a Customer Centric Commerce solution provider, said it has helped DEVONtechnologies increase its global affiliate program revenue by more than 150 percent via the Avangate Affiliate Network and Managed Affiliate Services.


DEVONtechnologies is a developer of knowledge management solutions for Mac and iOS platforms that use artificial intelligence to improve data mining and information retrieval.

According to a release, with affiliate marketing a key acquisition channel, DEVONtechnologies looked to increase their affiliate sales and reach new users. Common to many software vendors, DEVONtechnologies was challenged by the fact that effectively managing an affiliate program requires significant time and effort. Moreover, DEVONtechnologies faced the added difficulty that most affiliate sites lack Mac focus.

DEVONtechnologies engaged the Avangate affiliate network, a Blue Book Top 20 global affiliate network and specialist in Software and SaaS products, to accelerate their global sales via access to the Avangate Affiliate Network, Managed Affiliate Services offerings, and simplified sales and affiliate payments with Avangate's integrated eCommerce module.

To expand DEVONtechnologies affiliate sales, Avangate launched a series of affiliate promotions focused on the growing DEVONtechnologies' active Mac affiliates, coupled with a sustained communications program. The resulting improvement in lead quality from affiliates increased DEVONtechnologies software orders by 131 percent and revenue by 162 percent.
