Five9 Announces Salesforce Omni-Channel Support for Cloud Contact Center Software

By Oliver VanDervoort September 18, 2015

Five9 has long been considered a leading provider when it comes to cloud-based contact center software. Earlier this week, the firm announced that it is officially continuing support of Salesforce and the Salesforce Omni-Channel and Lightning Experience. The company is seamlessly integrating Five9 Virtual Contact Center with Salesforce Omni-Channel. This particular integration is geared toward helping contact center solutions operators serve their customers as well as they possibly can.

“As companies adopt omni-channel solutions, the goal of Five9 is to support almost any integration strategy. The Five9 simply smart platform complements our customers’ technology investments in a single desktop combined with our strong integration with Salesforce,” said Mike Burkland, President and CEO, Five9 in a recent statement announcing the expanding partnership.

Among other features that the Five9 solution will bring to Salesforce Omni-Channel is that the right operator will be getting the right tasks at the right time. This not only keeps the company working at peak efficiency but it also keeps customer satisfaction at a rather high level. When it comes to the contact center, either land-based or through the cloud, there are very few things that can change customer satisfaction as easily as peak efficiency. Customers don’t want to be talking to the wrong person or have to call and tell several different people the same information.

This kind of solution makes sure that when people are looking for one certain operator, which has the answers they need, they are routed to that person every single time. Five9 is also bringing the next generation of cloud-based contact center software, allowing a number of different functions to all run through the same desktop in order to make it easier for companies to roll it out. This suite combines the best of both worlds when it comes to ease of use.
