Brightree Delivers New Mobile Point of Delivery Solution with Apacheta

Brightree®, the leading provider of cloud-based clinical, business management and billing software solutions for the post-acute care industry, announced today a strategic agreement with Apacheta Corporation, a provider of mobile workforce management solutions that streamline field force operations. The agreement will enable home medical equipment (HME) providers to deploy tablet-based wireless mobile workforce technology with direct integration to Brightree to reduce costs, eliminate paper, optimize productivity and accelerate time to revenue for medical claims. The integrated solution will provide native support for smartphones, tablets and rugged devices with Android™, Apple (News - Alert)® iOS and Windows® Mobile operating systems.

How it works

The integrated, cloud-based mobile delivery solution enables providers to create electronic orders in Brightree and schedule and track those deliveries using Apacheta's dispatch system. These orders are immediately sent to a technician carrying Apacheta's tablet-based application. At the point of delivery, the technician walks through a series of mobile forms and captures the patient's signature electronically, making the order immediately available in Brightree for claim processing-accelerating time to reimbursement and eliminating staff time required for data entry. The integrated solution supports automated delivery notifications, exception management, offline synchronization, map-based driver and delivery tracking in real-time, key delivery metrics reports as well as custom forms based on provider-specific needs. Delivery tickets and other provider-specific forms, such as required documentation, can be automatically uploaded and stored into Brightree Document Management for providers using both systems.
