SRI International's Iris on the Move® Products Named "Security's Best" 2015 ASIS Accolades Award Winners

MENLO PARK, Calif., Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SRI International's iris biometrics-embedded enterprise operations terminal and the KEES™ smart lock from Korea Technology and Communications (KT&C) and SRI were selected as 2015 ASIS Accolades – Security's Best winners. The iris biometrics-embedded enterprise operations terminal combines access control, workforce management and customized applications to bring cost-effective security to enterprise operations. Iris on the Move® (IOM) iris capture technology licensed from SRI is embedded in the customized Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro hardware. The Android® computing platform can optimize physical access while adding a new level of personalization for business efficincy.

KT&C's KEES residential door lock, powered by SRI's IOM technology, combines the accuracy of iris biometrics with the ease of a push-pull handle for simple, keyless access at a glance—eliminating the need to fumble for keys, enter a PIN or put down the groceries. KEES lock brings the security and convenience of iris authentication to residential properties.
