PeopleMatter Releases New Product Suite
Businesses, no matter the field, almost universally want to get the most out of hiring decisions. That can be something of a tall order, so a variety of tools in the workforce management field have emerged to help offer value in the market. PeopleMatter recently brought out its 2015 Winter product release, and with that release offered a whole new value in the market.
PeopleMatter's new tools will likely be welcome for recruiters. With mobile approval systems, users can approve requisitions from mobile devices, and even see the number of candidates for each available requisition order. New applicants in the system trigger notifications in the system for easy updating. A mobile milestones feature offers easy reminders of important events like birthdays and work anniversaries, allowing the company to connect with employees on that level and provide a greater feeling of value.
New tools also offer top-notch job board integration, allowing for better use of online job sources and an increased likelihood of finding the right candidate. Since the tool connects with Indeed Apply, users can apply from an Indeed profile, making it easier to apply and thus increasing the size of the applicant pool. There is also a slate of new configuration options, with employers able to not only select primary jobs, but also home locations for team members. That's especially useful when employees are doing multiple jobs within the same firm.
Companies concerned about the impact of “protected classes” like veterans or individuals with disabilities, also get a boost from PeopleMatter's new release. Particularly valuable for federal contractors, these tools become valuable in advance of affirmative action audits. A search tool allows applications to be saved, again useful for future audits. There are even specific applications for Talent Acquisition Analytics, allowing requisitions to be connected to specific locations, or specific jobs, and tracked accordingly.
While it's often said that the really important things can't be measured, the idea that management can be done without data is ludicrous. Data is vital to proper management; if no one knows what a situation currently looks like, how can anyone know how to improve it? No one can fix a problem when no one knows what the problem looks like, or where it's taking place. This makes tools like PeopleMatter's new lineup especially valuable, allowing issues to be tracked, and from there, addressed where needs be.
No one can fix a problem that no one knows is there, and PeopleMatter helps make it clear just where the problems are to be fixed. It also helps ensure that businesses get the most out of hiring decisions, and in the end, that's an outcome most any business can get behind.
