NCI Wins $9 Million Contract with U.S. Army


NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today that it was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract valued at $9.4 million to provide IT services in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC (News - Alert)) at Fort Benning, Georgia. The award is for new work with a 12-month base period and one 12-month option year, and is under NCI's ITES-2S contract.

NCI will operate and maintain classified and unclassified communication systems for Fort Benning's NEC. The company will provide IT support services, including network administration, installation and engineering, and system maintenance. Help Desk assistance, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, web master and video teleconferencing support, technical control facility operations and maintenance, and configuration management of the installation infrastructure also will be included.

Fort Benning is home to the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, Armor School, Infantry School, Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, elements of the 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Brigade - 3rd Infantry Division, and many other tenant units. It serves a daily population of more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve component soldiers, retirees and civilian employees.
