United Theological Seminary Selects Cloud-Based Student Information System From Enrollment Rx

SCHILLER PARK, IL, Oct 23, 2013 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Enrollment Rx, an innovator of cloud-based Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for academic institutions, today announced that United Theological Seminary (United), Dayton, OH, has selected StuTrax, Enrollment Rx's cloud-based Student Information System (SIS), to streamline the entire enrollment to graduation process.

United, which already relies on Enrollment Rx cloud-based CRM, will leverage StuTrax to maximize constituent engagement and improve collaboration for an improved student experience.

United is one of the fastest growing theological schools in the U.S., offering masters and doctoral theological degrees and continuing education with programs offered across two campuses and online. Since their previous SIS proved difficult to scale and was unable to easily integrate with other applications, United turned to StuTrax, a powerful SIS built on Force.com, to centralize student management on a single platform. StuTrax delivers immediate access to more student data and automates workflows and reports for critical activities such as forecasting, building course catalogues and event management. This results in significant time savings and streamlined communication for Admissions, Student Services, the Registrars Office, and the Alumni Office.

"Unlike many offerings available, Enrollment Rx delivers true cloud solutions, which was a critical factor in our evaluation process," said Marcus Milligan, CIO & Director of Electronic Marketing, United Theological Seminary. "Our success with Enrollment Rx's CRM system, combined with the ease of integration of the cloud-based solutions, made StuTrax a natural choice." In one use case, United has extended the Enrollment Rx CRM functionality of tracking marketing campaigns to SIS event management, enabling staff to determine which events are most successful in converting applicants to admits. In addition, United worked with Enrollment Rx to implement a self-service student portal, where students will be able to manage registration, review class schedules, request advising appointments, and register for events. As a result, United expects to improve registration efficiency and decrease administrative work, while helping students to seamlessly manage their academic careers.

"Enrollment Rx is an enabler of United's broader enrollment management strategy," said Karen Payne, Senior Director of Enrollment Management at United. "The CRM software enabled us to implement enhanced enrollment management processes, standardize enrollment communications, and deploy improved reporting and tracking mechanisms, all contributing to a 36% increase in new student enrollment in 2012. The StuTrax deployment will complement our current Enrollment Rx CRM implementation, creating new opportunities to collaborate across departments and engage with students, alumni and other constituents."
