ThinkHR integrates a cloud-based platform of resources with a live hotline staffed by HR experts, giving customers the option to self-serve or talk to an advisor to solve workforce issues. While a record number of customers turned to the company's self-service platforms in 2014, call volume to the live HR hotline also experienced significant increases. In addition, the company introduced new products that helped more businesses address compliance and training needs. A significant increase in distribution partnerships added to the exponential user growth on ThinkHR's cloud-based platforms.

Year-over-Year Growth
2014 was another year of record expansion for ThinkHR. The company:

  • More than doubled the size of its user base, ending 2014 with year-over-year growth of 115 percent.
  • Posted year-over-year revenue growth of nearly 60 percent for the third year in a row.
  • Migrated to a new technology platform that allowed more robust self-service capability for customers.
  • Introduced new services to better serve existing customer while expanding its market opportunity.
  • Meanwhile, ThinkHR's expert advisor team helped companies solve workforce issues by answering more than 50,000 HR-related questions.



New Products
ThinkHR rolled out several new offerings in 2014.

  • ThinkHR Comply. In February, the company launched its cloud-based HR and compliance resource center designed to provide users with instant online access to vital information needed for workforce management.
  • ThinkHR Workplace. Also launched in 2014, the ThinkHR Workplace is a cloud-based platform of integrated HR resources and training supported by live HR experts, comprising ThinkHR Comply, ThinkHR Learn and ThinkHR Live.
  • ThinkHR Learn. In August, ThinkHR introduced a new cloud-based training solution that enables companies to maintain compliance, lessen risk and increase employee productivity. ThinkHR Learn offers unlimited access to hundreds of courses designed to keep employees up to date on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.

Partner Growth
In addition to offering products directly to employers, ThinkHR continued to expand its distribution partnerships with insurance brokers, payroll bureaus and HR associations in 2014.


  • The company more than doubled its number of partners with year-over-year growth of 150 percent.
  • ThinkHR Comply was recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as one of the eight top-selling resources in the SHRM bookstore in 2014. This is the second year that ThinkHR solutions have been named top-selling resources by the SHRM bookstore. SHRM is the world's largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management with more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries.
