By Stefania Viscusi December 15, 2020

When national laundry-detergent brand Tide decided to start a franchise dry cleaning concept location - the idea was to bring customers a brand they were already familiar with and trusted for years to get stains out of their clothes.

Launched in 2008 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, it is currently the second-largest dry cleaner in the United States and is on track to be number one by the end of 2020.

Recently, the business announced it was recognized by a national news magazine and made the list for Best Customer Service 2021.

The ranking by Newsweek and data research firm Statista identified those companies that consistently provide the best customer service by putting the consumer first. Tide was One of three other dry-cleaning service companies to make the list.

Tide Cleaners currently has 180 locally-owned and operated locations in more than two dozen states and over 1,800 locker locations across the U.S.

“We are committed to positively impacting our community and providing the best service possible to our clients,” says Tide Cleaners’ Director of Franchising Clare Moore.

Other accolades Tide Cleaners has also earned include making Entrepreneur magazine’s first Top Growth Franchises list - ranking at number 69 among 150 businesses that have shown positive unit growth in North America in the last three years. Tide Cleaners also placed 97 on the 2020 Franchise Times Top 200+ list and is number 97 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 ranking.

“Our purpose is to provide services of superior quality and value that improve the lives of our consumers. Having Newsweek recognize Tide Cleaners in its Best Customer Service 2021 list demonstrates we are successful in that mission," said Moore.
