SPI Software Teams with ConnectionsGRP for New SPI Connect Platform

By Stefania Viscusi April 20, 2022

SPI Software, a software developer of management-oriented systems for vacation ownership and resort developers, has announced the release of a new platform, SPI Connect, which will make it easier for guests to communicate with resorts before, during and after their vacation stays. The new platform was created in partnership with ConnectionsGRP, a communications technology provider.

The Hyperscale Communications Platform adds a cloud-based messaging module into SPI’s timeshare and vacation ownership application software. ConnectionsGRP’s omnichannel CPaaS communication platform makes it possible to integrate mobile messaging channels with a business voice channel.

“The integration of ConnectionsGRP CPaaS with SPI’s software provides the first step in helping to solve the current crisis of communication between the guest and the timeshare/vacation resorts,” said Anthony Link, CEO of ConnectionsGRP.

Now, properties can have more streamlined communications across operations and do things like cherry-pick real-time communication messages, as well as allow guests to respond to any outgoing text or message that is sent.

The need for better, modern communications solutions in the hospitality industry has been growing and there has never been a major focus on event-based guest communications. With this truly integrated CPaaS software, communications are triggered from events and guest communications are prioritized for a better experience all around. For guests there is also the ability to communicate on their platform of choice – which, for most, is text messaging.

Commenting on the partnership and new release, Gordon McClendon, CEO of SPI Software said, “Our SPI Connect powers the guest experience by driving the world of guest communications forward. This helps to transform resort–customer communication, grow revenue, save time and cost through streamlining processes. This uniquely personalized communications platform is what guests want. Its implementation will greatly improve customer service and satisfaction scores, greatly enhancing the vacation experience for each customer.”
