Darlington Building Society Recruits 8x8 for Digital Transformation

Business communications and SaaS provider 8x8 Inc. revealed the Darlington Building Society will be utilizing 8x8 XCaaS (eXperience Communications as a Service) to support the organization's digital transformation efforts.

The Darlington Building Society is a UK-based financial institution, offering customers a wide range of savings and mortgage products to support their financial strategies. Founded in 1856, the Society has kept pace with modern developments, offering customers digital resources through  the online banking portal Darlingtonline. With the recent global shift toward hybrid working environments, Darlington has made it a priority to further enhance employee and customer experiences through a complete cloud communications overhaul.

With the assistance of the 8x8 XCaaS, Darlington employees will now have full access to contact center, voice, video conferencing, and chat services. And thanks to the added support of the cloud, these resources can be used from virtually any location, further enhancing hybrid environments for continuous productivity.
