Infobip Adds SMS, WhatsApp Features for Adobe Commerce

Phone Calls and email campaigns are still viable options for connecting with customers, but the convenience and instant service of social media and SMS are making them the preferred methods of business communications.

This week, cloud communications company Infobip announced SMS and WhatsApp messaging capabilities are now included for Adobe Commerce users. Service agents can connect with customers across journey through texting and online chat portals, while also providing notifications and personalization features to improve online shopping experiences.

“There has been a drastic change in consumer behavior since the start of 2020 that includes a greater need for convenience-based shopping and wider acceptance of different communications channels.” commented Veselin Vukovic, VP of strategic partnerships at Infobip ``We're thrilled to expand our stack of cloud-based communication solutions that will help clients in the Adobe marketplace offer differentiated experience to their customers in what is a fiercely competitive trading environment.”

With Infobip’s integration in Adobe Commerce, businesses will be able to include contextual notifications for special offers, promotions, and real-time order tracking, Business users will also have the ability to boost conversion rates by communicating with customers when carts are abandoned, and notify them when desired products are stocked for purchase.
