Bloomreach Opens New Communication Door

By Greg Tavarez February 21, 2023

Mobile apps are a regular part of today's customer journey as they help shoppers with browsing, comparing and purchasing products. Most apps, however, use push notifications to contact customers, and those notifications eventually disappear with no way to get back to them. Well, there is a new opportunity for marketers which they can maximize through an app inbox that allows customers to access content in real-time or return to messages at their leisure.

An app inbox encourages users to engage with the app regularly by providing notifications about new content or features, special offers or personalized messages. Additionally, an app inbox provides valuable insights into user behavior and preferences.

Bloomreach, empowering brands to deliver customer journeys so personalized, is bringing the capabilities of an app inbox to brands and customers with the launch of its own app inbox, a mobile messaging tool from Bloomreach Engagement that creates a versatile new communication channel within the mobile app experience.

The inbox further expands mobile messaging features already available in Bloomreach Engagement, empowering marketers to drive more opportunities for mobile engagement and revenue while offering even better experiences for shoppers.

“The mobile app has become a prominent channel in every marketing strategy, and we wanted to ensure Bloomreach Engagement customers could maximize that channel to its fullest potential,” said Michal Novovesky, general manager and head of product, Bloomreach Engagement. “It's yet another way to fuel a personalized, omnichannel marketing strategy with Bloomreach Engagement.”

With the Bloomreach app inbox, marketers can assign expiration periods to messages, allowing them to control how long the message remains in the inbox for users to see. The app inbox is now a place of continuous customer engagement, offering ongoing communication that drives value for customers and measurable results for marketers.

App inboxes are an essential feature for any mobile application that values user engagement, loyalty and satisfaction.
