Carbyne Powers Atlanta's Efforts to Enhance Public Safety

By Greg Tavarez June 09, 2023

Every second counts when it comes to emergency situations. Whether it's a medical crisis, a natural disaster, a crime in progress or any other life-threatening event, the urgency to respond swiftly and effectively is paramount.

Recognizing the criticality of time in emergencies, systems like E911 and NG911 are developed to optimize response times by providing accurate location information. Such advancements aim to minimize the duration between the initial distress call and the arrival of emergency services, maximizing the potential for positive outcomes.

Carbyne, a NG911 cloud native communications platform for mission-critical contact centers, has a mission to redefine emergency collaboration and connect the dots between people, enterprises and governments. Carbyne’s technologies enable emergency contact centers and select enterprises to connect with callers as well as connected devices via highly secure communication channels that lead to more efficient and transparent operations and ultimately save lives.

With that commitment, Carbyne took its technologies to the city of Atlanta. The Carbyne Platform is live in Atlanta, equipping the city's 911 call center with enhanced capabilities for faster, more efficient and accurate emergency response.

“At Carbyne, our topmost priority is to enhance public safety and save lives," said Amir Elichai, CEO of Carbyne. "With our technology, we aim to help Atlanta's public safety departments perform their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Together, we can make a real difference because every person counts."

Some of the Carbyne features within Atlanta’s 911 call center include Carbyne Universe, Carbyne’s Responder Connect and the Video WallBoard platform.

Carbyne Universe revolutionizes call management with its rich media over-the-top solution. This innovative platform provides a complete and immersive incident overview by seamlessly integrating diverse media and caller data into a unified interface.

Carbyne's Responder Connect feature empowers first responders to share vital updates instantaneously, heightening situational awareness to unprecedented levels. And, with the Video WallBoard platform, dispatchers effortlessly monitor and manage ongoing incidents, ensuring a level of precision that redefines emergency response.

"The integration of Carbyne's Platform will significantly boost our emergency response capabilities, making the city of Atlanta a safer place to live, work and visit,” said E911 Director Desiree Arnold, of the Atlanta Police Department.

With these features, Carbyne empowers Atlanta’s 911 call center and first responders with improved situational awareness, enabling swift and accurate assessment and response to any incident.
