New Headset Offerings from Cyber Acoustics Meet the Demands of Contact Center Environments

By Alex Passett August 08, 2023

Headquartered Vancouver, Washington, since its founding in 1996, Cyber Acoustics has served as a reliable manufacturer of headsets, speakers, headphones, speakerphones, microphones, laptop docking stations, webcams and more. Founded by its passionate team of audio enthusiasts, the Cyber Acoustics mission has remained the same to this day, even as technologies have changed: Cyber Acoustics builds affordable products with incredible sound. Today, the company remains an EdTech provider and has also stayed committed to sustainability via space-conscious packaging made from 100% recyclable materials.

Cyber Acoustics recently announced four new headsets designed specifically for the needs of call centers and contact centers. Each of these four headset models (basically designed in pairs, but available separately) features noise cancellation; either it’s Cyber Acoustics’ Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) or Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Moreover, all four are compatible with RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other applications.

Specifics below:

  • Both the AC-204ENC Stereo Headset and AC-104ENC Mono Headset are ideal for VoIP and remote work. The adjustable, over-the-ear designs make for flexible fits, and their unidirectional and noise-cancelling boom mics are rotatable. These headsets utilizes a single 3.5mm plug (and work with Android, Apple, tablets and most desktops), and they’re backwards compatible with other hardware due to included Y-adapters. These plug-and-play, no-software-required headsets were designed while leveraging more than a decade of Cyber Acoustics’ experience building value-priced headsets for demanding environments.
  • Both the CA Essential HS-1500BT Headset as well as the CA Essential ENC & ANC Headset feature both ENC and ANC technologies. (Best of both worlds, in applicable use cases.) These lightweight, comfortable-fit, high-performance headsets feature convenient earcup controls for easy call management and seamless device-swapping, and their battery playtime reaches up to 30 hours (with a rechargeable design via USB-C cable that can charge it while in use).

“Having built affordable products for demanding education environments for many years, we are uniquely equipped to address the needs of call centers and BPOs because we know what it takes to deliver a high-quality, affordable product,” said Steve Erickson, COO at Cyber Acoustics. “We have taken this experience, invested in technology, and listened closely to the needs of our BPO partners to develop headsets that address their biggest pain points. These new headsets reflect that feedback.”
